The General Director of the Academician A. Garayev Institute of Physiology, Prof. Ulduz Hashimova, took part in the XXIV Congress of the I.P. Pavlov Physiological Society, which took place on September 11–15, 2023, in St. Petersburg, Russia. At the Symposium “Cognitive Mechanisms of the Brain and Neurotechnologies for Artificial Intelligence,” Prof. U. Hashimova presented a report on the topic “On the question of the structural prerequisites for the functional asymmetry of the cerebral hemispheres,” which aroused great interest among the participants of the congress.
Also, Prof. U. Hashimova met with the Director of the I.P. Pavlov Institute of Physiology, Professor Natalya Alekovna Dyuzhikova, and Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Institute, Doctor of Biology Tatyana Romulyevna Moshonkina, got acquainted with the scientific works of foreign colleagues, and discussed issues of cooperation.
